Alex Cord was struck by polio as a boy, but nevertheless managed to become an accomplished equestrian and professional on the rodeo circuit. He broke into acting in the American Shakespeare Festival and spent time on the London stage where he was nominated Best Actor by the London Critics Circle. Cord has appeared in dozens of films and television series and has had recurring roles on television, perhaps most notably Airwolf as Michael "Archangel" Coldsmith-Briggs. More recently, Mr. Cord has written a pair of novels.
