The New Republic War, occasionally called Republic Remnant War by many Imperials and Sith, was a between the Sith Empire and the New Republic. The conflict began in a battle above the Sith Empire capital world of Dromund Kaas, a culmination of the Old Republic fleet regaining its strength after nearly a century in hiding. The start of the war saw the rise of powerful new Sith and many victories of the Empire, eventually the New Republic gained allies to aid them in their war thus prolonging the war.
