After many years, she meets with her cousin and Betty after they were branded as fugitives by the U.S. military. She personally observed their transformations as the Hulk and She-Hulk. They saved Jennifer when she was held hostage by a crime boss named Nicolas Task, who holds a personal grudge against her father Sheriff William M. Walters. She does her best to clear their names. She's also friends with New York attorney Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) ever since they attended the same law school together.
