The M481 Air-to-Surface Missile, often called the M481 ASM or simply the Four-Eighty-One, was the primary air-to-surface ordinance of United Nations Space Command fighters and gunships from 2558 through 2586 with the aid of multiple improvements over the years, including but not limited to more efficient fuel systems, smaller size, and better accuracy. Due to its small size, a Pelican dropship is capable of using mounting an average of 130% more missiles than in previous years.
