The Book of Memories was a book written by the Tarasin species, which was kept by the Tarasin deep within the jungles of the planet Cularin. The book recorded all of the people that had acted to protect Cularin and the planet's secrets, to ensure that such people were remembered. In about 19 BBY, a member of the Heroes of Cularin—a group of freelance agents that operated in the Cularin system—sacrificed themselves to prevent a powerful Sith artifact known as the Darkstaff from destroying Cularin, and the agent's name was subsequently inscribed into the Book of Memories.
