Howard Ungerleider (Herns) is the show lighting designer and director for the group RUSH. When he first started working with Rush in 1974 on their first tour he was the Tour manager lighting director and accountant but today he is the lighting designer and director. To this day, Howard and tour manager Liam Birt have been with Rush for the longest amount of time 37 years.Currently Howard is the owner of Production Design International a special effects company that designs and assists many of the touring productions out on the road with everything from lighting to lasers and pyrotechnics.Look at his website at www.pdifx.com
