Cunaxa is a fictional princedom in Melanie Rawn's fantasy novels of the Dragon Prince and Dragon Star Trilogies. Cunaxa is one of the northern princedoms and sits directly atop the Desert. It is a desolate land where little grows except Merida and a hatred and envy of the Desert. It possesses a powerful merchant class, which consumes much of the Prince's political energy; the rest is taken up by the Merida, who constantly clamor for an attack on the Desert. Cunaxan weavers were one of the few guilds who had an actual school for their apprentices.
