Throughout all three games, Julius demonstrates great skill in crafting up new machinery to aid his allies in their quests. For example, he creates different boomerangs for Ty's uses, depending on a collection of fiften golden cogs collected throughout the levels for each "Technorang". Each "Technorang" is capable of an incredible skill, such as the "Zappyrang" which can restart generators or the "Chronorang" which can slow down the movement of Ty's foes.
