Tournament thread ; Results thread The first recorded tournament that actually occurred and was posted on Smashboards was announced by SmashBroPro. It was held at a local game store in Chicago. This first tournament quickly became a regular occurrence, and a general invitation was given out on the boards to come out every Sunday for tournaments. Responses from local Chicago crews poured in.
