Dan Fogelman is an American writer, producer, and actor. He is best known for the writing of screenplay for the Disney animated movie Tangled and the Pixar movies Cars and Cars 2. On April 21, 2011, Warner Bros. won a heated script auction for Fogelman's latest project, which already has Tom Cruise attached as the star. Cruise will play a disgraced politician who returns to his hometown to recover.
