CSI: The Animated Series is an American animated television series created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Russell T. Davies. Unlike the other CSI spin-offs, this series isn't produced by Jerry Bruckheimer; instead, Klasky-Csupo and CBS Television Studios produce the series. It premiered on The CW in 2015 along with NCIS: Virginia and Pottermore. Fans criticized the animated adaption; it didn't air on CBS, but rather on The CW. On June 1st, 2015, the show was renewed for a second season. The second season started airing on Cartoon Network in September 2015.
