Created April 10th, 2009, #BungieNet is an internet relay chat channel for the Bungie.net community. The channel is maintained by long-time Bungie.net users and features many notable people from the Bungie.net community. Also nicknamed "Moap Junior," the #BungieNet userbase contains many IRC users who also frequent #Moap. Peak hours on #BungieNet usually occur on weekdays from 9pm-12am EST (GMT -5); despite contrary claims, the channel usually boasts upwards around 35 members and substantial activity during these hours.
