The Dashwood Fire Department was one of two separate fire departments serving the Township of Stephen in southwestern Ontario. Dashwood was also known as Stephen Township Fire Area 1. In 2001, Stephen Township was amalgamated with the Town of Exeter and the Township of Usbourne to form South Huron, and the Dashwood FD became Station 14 of South Huron Fire Department.
