Daenerys and Maron were wed in 197 AL, after the rebellion had been crushed and Daemon Blackfyre slain. It is assumed that Daenerys and Maron are the direct ancestors of the current members of House Martell, including Prince Doran and his daughter, Princess Arianne. Daenerys Targaryen may have been named for Daenerys Martell.
