Magitek or Magitech Actually, the core of any technology in Random Kingdom is explained as being magitek. Whereas magic uses the forces of nature via psychic ability, technology uses them via the arrangement of machinery. The powers that are used, however, are the same - the spirits, or 'little voices', that dwell in the smallest parts of matter and least-frequented locations, the jittering voices of latent creation, generated by myriads of souls congregated in certain places of the cosmos. At one point (Requiem of Summer Past), it is hinted that technology itself is aware and a birth of a greater cosmic entity is in process through technological development. Some devices and technologies are clearly closer to the core of magic than others.
