General Kromer was the commanding officer in charge of the IASA mission to Mars. When the mission was cancelled, Kromer had to inform Paul Chandler and his team. He took the team to the Taelon Embassy in Washington, D.C. where Da'an offered them positions in the Taelon space program. Later, Kromer held a press conference where he publicly announced the cancellation.
