The RG8MH features a mahogany body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut 27" scale neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge. The RG8MH is a bit of a transitionary model which is based on the RG8. Prior to the RG8MH's introduction, the RG8 had a basswood body. After 2014, the RG8 took the RG8MH's mahogany body thus superseding the RG8MH model.
