Amir Rashad was a human male who served on the SS Valiant as first officer under Captain Carlos Tarasco. On December 30, 2069, he was one of the six crewmen who died of electromagnetic shock when the Valiant attempted to cross the galactic barrier. He had a wiry build and a neatly trimmed beard.
