Lightning Stones are stones found in Hurricos in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. They are used to power the powerhouses in an enclosed area of the world. The Gear Grinder Thieves occasionally took out the stones to play with them. When an Electroll tried to take the stones from them, they would throw them to eachother, while the Electroll tried to catch it. When Spyro came to the land, he was asked to get back the stones, activate them and defeat the thieves. After he did so, he was awarded with an Orb.
