Eva Rivas is a Russian-born Armenian singer who represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, finishing in seventh place. To promote her song that year, Rivas visited, prior to the contest, some European countries. She had wished to represent Armenia again in the 2012 Contest. However, ultimately the country did not participate that year.
