Albert Hahn is the grandson of William Hahn, a prominent figure in the Nationalist party. Albert worked in the provincial government of Rossingol where his grandfather was Governor for many years before winning election to the J Andres Commune in 2072. After the Nationalist party lost control of the Commune in 2076, Hahn was selected to replace the Nationalist party leader, Ashley Carpenter.
