The Magna Beam is a laser on Sledge's ship that can grow a monster into a giant, or shrink it back down to its original size. While the ship was orbiting the Earth, the magna beam is fired from it's underside . However, after the ship crashed on the planet's surface, the beam is fired from a cannon on the top of the ship skyward to a satellite orbiting the Earth, which reflects it to the targeted outlaw. The only monsters that didn't need the use of it were the Greenzillas. Sledge uses the beam himself when the Dino Charge Rangers rewrite the events of Powers from the Past.
