Issachar was a male Anzat who lived on Kal'Shabbol. He was invited by his friend Jaala to take a trip to see the galaxy with him and his girlfriend, Shiphrah. The trip, which extended past a year, ended up giving them a lot of trouble, in which Jaala was killed by a thug and Shiphrah was badly burned, so that she had to be permanently hooked up to life support. Because of all of this compounded, Shiphrah went insane, and Issachar brought her and himself home to Kal'Shabbol.
