The Tamagotchi Mini (ちびたまごっちChibi Tamagotchi) is a miniature virtual pet that acts as a homage to the original Tamagotchi. It is the second worldwide Tamagotchi release since the 2004 relaunch. Due to its small size, the Mini is often treated as a fashion accessory. As part of Tamagotchi's 20th anniversary celebrations, the Tamagotchi Mini relaunched in Japan in April 2017.
