Rail transport is a major means of mass transit in Zonyon. A limited steam-based train network existed until 1976, when the introduction of the high-speed Hyperrail or HyRa system became the replacement that provided speedy mobility for a small nation lacking in fossil fuels. HyRa currently features two models, the Hyper Aerodynamic Car or HAC introduced in 1985 and the Super Hyper Aerodynamic Car of SHAC introduced in 1999.
