Hogue was a member of the Cardassian underground movement and a student under Professor Natima Lang. In 2370, Hogue was forced to flee Cardassia Prime because of his political views. Hogue, Rekelen and Lang sought refuge at station Deep Space 9, but they were later forced to flee once again when Elim Garak informed the Central Command of their location and sentenced them to death. Fortunately, Hogue and the others were able to escape, with the assistance of Quark, who installed a small cloaking device on their shuttle. (DS9: "Profit and Loss") Hogue was played by actor Michael Reilly Burke.
