Dee Dee Deering (born Elizabeth Hawkins, February 23, 1912 - March 5, 1995) appeared as Edna, one of Izzy Moreno's "investment scam" customers in the episode "Too Much, Too Late" of the series Miami Vice. Deering's acting appearances (mostly consisting of "feisty old lady" roles) include the movies Island Claws (with Raymond Forchion, Mal Jones, and Will Knickerbocker), The Whoopee Boys (with Lucinda Jenney), Let It Ride (with David Schramm), and Folks! (with Robert Pastorelli). Deering died of cancer in Miami, Florida, on March 5, 1995, at the age of 83.
