The attack ultimately failed due to the efforts of NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team, the NCIS Major Case Response Team who stormed the warehouse and killed all the terrorists except for Ari who escaped. Unfortunately, the NCIS team suffered a tragic loss too when NCIS Special Agent Caitlin Todd died after being shot in the head with Ari being revealed as her murderer.
