NAVSEA's primary objective is to engineer, build and support the U.S. Navy's fleet of ships and its combat systems. NAVSEA accounts for nearly one-fifth of the Navy's budget, with more than 100 acquisition programs under its oversight. The five Navy systems commands are: * Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) * Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) * Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) * Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) * Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)
