Korath, son of Monak was a Klingon scientist who lived during the 24th and 25th centuries. In 2368, Korath tried to convince the Klingon High Council to allow him to develop an engine capable of time travel. Korath was stopped when Gariff Lucsly convinced the council it would be a dishonorable breach of the Temporal Accords to develop the engine. In early 2382, Korath took part in a series of summits hosted by the Federation in order to foster greater understanding among different galactic powers. Later that year, Korath attended a meeting of temporal scientists held by Professor Vard. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
