Additionally, an array of paper talismans need be placed in certain intervals around a target upon a spiral design transcribed onto ground with charcoal. Upon activating the technique the talismans will ignite, starting the outermost tags. Next, the charcoal design will retract in on the target eventually branding them with the seal. Individuals who have had this technique placed upon them appear to be put under a significant amount of discomfort during the sealing process.
