The Shattered Basin was a sinkhole on the edge of the Southern Jundland Wastes that was reachable via a tunnel. The Sevarin Mesa formed the eastern border of the Basin, and the mesa was lined with windmills. Joroshe's Spirit Cave, a sacred Tusken Raider cave, was located in the Basin.
