J. G. is "the unit production monster" featured in bonus features of the Blu-ray release of The Muppets. The puppet design, a green frackle, has appeared as far back as on The Muppet Show in 1980, and appeared in The Muppets answering phones during the telethon. "J. G." stands for "Jade Green", the internal classification for the puppet. Performer Tyler Bunch originally created the voice as a way to annoy Dave Goelz in between takes.
