The duel on Kamino was a vicious battle that took place in 6 ABY between Jedi Master Durja Lanew and his former apprentice Kau-Ja Manew. The ghost of Sith Lord Darth Octillious had corrupted Jedi Knight Kau-Ja Manew. Kau-Ja became overwhelmed with the dark side and Octillious’s spirit got him to believe that Durja Lanew would not like the way he thought, and would ultimately attack Kau-Ja. When he revealed his corruption to his former master Durja Lanew, Durja would not let him leave Kamino with those thoughts. Being harassed and challenged, Kau-Ja attacked him.
