Ed Illyushin was a Manticoran citizen and an enlisted crewmember of the Royal Manticoran Navy. He served as an environmental tech aboard the Q-ship HMAMC Wayfarer during the vessel's mission in the Silesian Confederacy. He was one of Power Technician 1st Class Randy Steilman's comrades and co-conspirators for the planned defection to the People's Republic of Haven. After his arrest, he was killed when the ship's brig was destroyed in the Battle of the Selker Rift. (HH6)
