The Casimir System was a K0 star system in the Saginaw Sector of the Silesian Confederacy, containing two inhabited planets, a gas giant and an asteroid belt. The system was inhabited by around five million people. Moreover, there was an industrial facility located on the orbit of the gas giant, used before 1900 PD as a slave depot, but the depot was destroyed by forces under Commander Honor Harrington.
