The Polluted Mire is a room in the Dark Torvus Bog. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. This room has a large tree in the middle surrounded by a moat of Dark Water. There are several platforms on its branches that Samus Aran can jump on to ascend the room. Ingsphere Caches inhabit the moat. This is also the first room in which Samus encounters Hunter Ing . The Aether version of this room is Torvus Grove.
