Hyson Green Estate was a mixed rise housing estate located in Hyson Green, Nottingham. The estate of 593 flats and maisonettes had problems and design defects. The Hyson Green Tenants Action Group enumerated a number, including, water penetration, dampness, condensation, poor heating arrangements, white and brown asbestos, refuse disposal problems and very poor soundproofing. Repairs and maintenance costs were twice the city average. The only surviving building from the original development is the tower block Braidwood Court.
