George Joseph Chatterton (1841-2 November 1909) was a businessman and local politician. The son of John Chatterton of Derby, he moved to London. He set up business as Chatterton and Company, lead pipe makers at Bridge Wharf, Caledonian Road. He retired to Sussex, where he died aged 68.
