Ice Parasites are Parasites that live in the Phendrana Drifts region on planet Tallon IV. A thick, icy plating covers their exoskeletons and protects them futher from harm. Ice Parasites can be found in the Chozo Ice Temple. They are not found in swarms, however and are larger. In this creature's scan it is revealed that Parasites can adapt to a new environment in three generations. In appearance they are very similar to the Plated Parasite, another variation of Parasite found mostly in the Magmoor Caverns.
