The mountain eagle was a bird analogue native to the planet Sphinx, called "peak wing" by treecats. It had two sets of wings and a single pair of powerful talon-tipped legs. An average adult mountain eagle's body was one meter (3.2ft) in length, with a wingspan of 2.4 meters (7.9ft) and a body weight of 4-1-5 kilos (9-11 lbs). The mountain eagle was a very efficient hunter, but prefered small prey, seldom attacking treecats. (SK1)
