The Gilded Cage was a luxurious geisha house in Kudo Mura controlled by the local gang lord, Yoshitaka, and rn by the okaa-san Honoka. The geisha there were not allowed to buy out their own contracts, no geisha escaped the Gilded Cage. They served the best sake and tea, nothing but the best for Yoshitaka's clientele.
