This team was formed out of the best trackers Konoha had to offer, using the Sensei of Team 8 Kurenai Yuhi as the Squad leader. The purpose of this squad was to hunt down every and all surviving Root members of the purge and bring them to justice. Though, not just for that, they were sometimes mobilised to hunt down enemy ninja. Though it should be stated that Karite Uchiha only joined for the sake of getting revenge on his younger brother's tormentors. Though, he really did enjoy working with Tracker team 6 for whatever brief time he spent with them.
