Syd Chambers was a nurse who worked in the Walford area. After meeting Bradley Branning she started to eventually date him. Soon after this she showed Bradley her son Noah Chambers and they started a proper family. In late 2009, they moved to Canada. When Bradley's mother, Rachel Branning had her accident in Masood Ahmed's car, they came back and they stayed in Dot and Jim Branning's house. Syd flirted with Bradley when she returned his lost dog Gumbo. He's since fallen for Syd and wants them to have a relationship. Her intelligent son is deaf, and he's bonded well with Bradley.
