Meteor Caverns is an area that makes it's debut in Monster Hunter EX. It gets it's name after the fact that it was discovered after a meteor shower, quite coincidentaly near the impact site. When explorers went to the area to investigate, they found some familiar creatures, but they also discovered some new ones that were never seen before. Hunters can go there after they reach High-rank. It is also the only place in Monster Hunter EX where you can find Meteoric ore and Meteor chunks.
