Malik Palantine was a Human male who became known for being the last living veteran of the Clone Wars, and last living CIS veteran. A native of Raxus, which became the political center of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Palantine worked for the local police force. When the war broke out in 22 BBY, he was drafted into the armed forces of the CIS. Palantine became a member of the Confederate Navy, serving as a lieutenant aboard the Lucid Voice, which was the sister ship of the infamous Invisible Hand. He served with the Lucid Voice until the end of the conflict. When the news of the Separatist defeat reached the crew of the Voice, they all abandoned the vessel and fled.
