Bothan Redrash was a disease that caused a severe outbreak of rashes all along the body. Bothan Redrash, not easily spread through physical contact, only affected Bothans and several other humanoid species. Humans could also be afflicted, since Wraith Squadron considered it as an agent to infect the Hawkbat's all-Human crew.
