Sapphire Squadron or Sapphire Flight was an Imperial TIE fighter unit assigned to Admiral Rae Sloane's Imperial-class Star Destroyer Vigilance. Led by Sapphire Leader Maus Monare, the squadron fought in the Battle of Endor, screening the Vigilance and aiding in the destruction of three Rebel Alliance corvettes. Sapphire Flight lost six pilots prior to Admiral Sloane ordering a withdrawal after the Empire was defeated in the battle, leading to a retreat to the Annaj system.
