Demonspine was an asteroid which was hollowed out and pulled into the Selene system during reconstruction efforts in 13 ABY under orders from Grand Moff Scaven Marx. The asteroid underwent heavy construction to establish a base for the Black Sun organization, which Marx had revitalized under his authority. During the operations of burrowing deep into the asteroid, construction workers discovered large skeletal remains of a creature from an ancient time long past. The main audience hall now rests within these skeletal remains which can be seen embedded across the span of the domed ceiling, most prominently the spine.
