Douglas K. Ousterhout is one of the best-known pioneers of facial feminization surgery for transsexual and transgender women. He is based in San Francisco, CA, USA. He was a pioneer in the technique of forehead reconstruction which he perfected in the 1990s. He is the author of the book, Aesthetic Contouring of the Craniofacial Skeleton. Ousterhout has an MD as well as a DDS degree.
